GIRL TO GIRL: CHECK YOUR LABELS

Between makeup, skincare, and body care, the average woman uses around 12 personal care products a day. That can add up to roughly 168 ingredients applied to the skin daily.
And in the United States, the FDA only bans 11 ingredients from use in personal care products.
This is where intention starts to matter.
Most traditional beauty products are water-based. When water is the first ingredient, formulas typically require a higher amount of preservatives and stabilizers to prevent microbial growth.
Waterless beauty takes a different approach.
No added water.More concentrated ingredients.Often fewer preservatives because microbes need water to thrive.
Many of my favorite formulas are also developed under EU cosmetic regulations, which follow some of the strictest safety standards in the world. The EU bans or restricts over 1,300 ingredients in cosmetics, and regulates thousands more under broader chemical safety laws.
And instead of water, these formulas are powered by one of the most potent antioxidants found in nature.
Your skin is your largest organ. It deserves to be treated with intention.
Below are a few of the clean, non-sticky essentials I reach for daily including my favorite lip trio, plus the makeup and skincare staples that live in my routine. 🫒✨
