I saw a quote today that said “If you have a business. Hug it. Many people never dare to start it. You are blessed to be working on your dream.” ..and I felt that to my bones.
It took me 5 years to get to this point… and now people just see it and think, “she got lucky.”
But there were so many moments I wanted to throw in the towel, so many days I doubted myself and so many times it would’ve been easier to quit.
This has nothing to do with luck. It was a decision to keep showing up…
even when I didn’t feel confident,
even when I didn’t have proof,
even when it felt like nothing was working.
That’s the part people don’t see.
Because it’s not about showing up when it’s easy… it’s about showing up when you’re tired, discouraged, and questioning everything…and doing it anyway.
And one thing I’ll always stand on: consistency should NOT equal burnout.
You don’t have to be 100% every day. You just have to keep moving.
Monday: 100%
Tuesday: 80%
Wednesday: 5%
Thursday: 20%
Friday: 70%
Saturday: 90%
Sunday: 10%
That still counts…it’s how you build something real, something life-changing.
If you feel pulled to dream bigger, here are my biggest pieces of advice:
• start before you’re ready
• show up on the hard days
• flow over force
• consistency over burnout
• focus on your blessings more than your burdens
• stop comparing: you cannot use someone else’s path to find yourself
